Seeing the hard-fought journey of the NPP-JVP come to fruition is inspiring, and I applaud every effort that went into achieving this milestone.
With Anura Kumara Dissanayake taking office as the 9th President of Sri Lanka, we stand at the dawn of a new era. While I may have had differing opinions along the way, and I have voiced my own perspective and truths, I respect the decision of the people of Sri Lanka. I hope that this choice reflects the beginning of a prosperous future for our beloved nation. The path forward will reveal whether this decision brings the change we have all hoped for, and I am optimistic that Sri Lanka’s best days lie ahead.
